Mufaz Community Capacity-building Support Centres was founded with a clear mission: to empower communities in Zimbabwe to take charge of their economic development. Established by Dr. O. Mufandaendza, a passionate advocate for community-driven growth, our organization operates on the belief that every community has the potential to thrive when provided with the right skills, knowledge, and support. Located in the Muchena Rural Area of Penalonga, Manicaland, we focus on creating self-sufficient communities capable of meeting their own economic, social, and environmental needs. Our vision is to foster a culture of empowerment through training, mentorship, and resources, ensuring that individuals can develop sustainable livelihoods and improve their quality of life.
We are proud to have established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Mutasa Rural District Council, underscoring our commitment to collaborative community development. Our training programs cover diverse areas, including batik making, basketry using wild reeds, organic gardening, beekeeping, mushroom production, and herbal plants processing. Each program is designed to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge, enabling them to succeed in various industries. Our partnerships with organizations like PMI Consultancy International and the African Fundraising Centre enhance our capacity to support community initiatives through expert guidance in fundraising, resource mobilization, and training.
